Ried Steinbach

The Steinbach location is a steep slope sloping to the southwest, in which our vines enjoy the light of the sun almost all day and can therefore develop a very ripe, full aroma. The soil consists of barren shell limestone, which forces the roots to penetrate deep into the subsoil and there, with the moisture, also take a lot of minerality with it. The lime makes the wines close-knit, well-structured and very compact.
